About
When I started rareliquid in 2021, it was for one main reason: no one else was making content about investment banking.

Hi! I'm Ben, founder of rareliquid and the Banking Accelerator
It makes sense - bankers usually want to remain private and are already making enough money.
I had just closed down my first business and realized there was a huge gap in finance content, so I started rareliquid to give people real insider insights into top finance roles.
I began live-streaming DCF models, creating day-in-the-life videos, and I realized I had a huge passion for teaching.
And so I began sharing everything I learned from my banking days at J.P. Morgan and my MBA experience at Wharton.
Along the way, I began interviewing bankers from top banks, investors at top buy-side firms, and a community naturally formed.
My #1 goal is to help the next generation of aspiring finance students bridge the gap between where they are today to their first life-changing finance offer.

Learn more about the story behind rareliquid

- 2018
Leaving Banking
After closing 15 deals worth $14 billion+ as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan, I left it all behind when my mom was diagnosed with ALS. I decided to pursue my dreams of becoming an entrepreneur and started my first company.
- 2021
rareliquid is born
After closing down my first business, I decided to apply for an MBA and while waiting for results, made YouTube videos about my life in banking. The channel immediately took off, gaining 1,000 subscribers in its first month and 70,000 by the end of the year.
- 2022
Back to school
I decided to still go to grad school and attended UPENN for a dual degree — an MBA at Wharton and a Masters in International Studies at the Lauder Institute. I filmed in between classes and launched a podcast that started off with interviewing classmates.
- 2024
rareliquid Full-Time
After 2 busy years of managing school and content, I graduated and went all-in, full-time on rareliquid, with the channel at 180,000 subscribers and 10 million views.
- 2025
The Banking Accelerator Launches
The following year, I channeled my focus into helping students land offers at top investment banks through the Banking Accelerator. The channel also grew to over 200,000 subscribers.
